In March, five of our students took part in a simultaneous exhibition with the 15th World Chess Champion, Viswanathan Anand, held at the Hilton Hotel in Nicosia.

In the first two years of the academy, our students became champions of Cyprus:

• Ivan Belyaev – Blitz Champion in the Under-12 category
• Viktoria Sokolova – Champion in the Woman Under-18 category

Artyom Sadovsky is a professional chess player and experienced coach working with both children and adults in a structured and results-driven way. His approach combines classical chess training, modern teaching methods, and a deep understanding of children’s developmental psychology.

Over his coaching career, Artyom has trained dozens of students who confidently progress, participate in, and win tournaments while developing strategic thinking, concentration, and discipline.
In his teaching, Artyom places special emphasis not only on chess knowledge but also on building confidence, responsibility, and resilience — skills that stay with a child far beyond the chessboard.
He believes that quality education begins with respect for the child’s individuality and a clear, well-thought-out training system.

Maksim Sukhovenko is a coach who helps children not only learn chess but also develop inner confidence, emotional resilience, and
