STUDENT ARRIVAL & COLLECTION POLICY

Freedom24 Chess Academy

To ensure a safe and well-organised environment for all students, parents and guardians are kindly asked to follow the arrival and collection procedures below.
1. Arrival Before Lessons
Students should arrive approximately 5–10 minutes before the scheduled start of their lesson.
Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that the child arrives safely at the Academy and is brought to the Academy entrance.
Please do not leave children unattended outside the Academy before their lesson begins.
2. Late Arrival
Students are expected to arrive on time. Once a lesson has started, the coach's primary responsibility is to supervise and teach the students already participating in the class.
If a child arrives late, the parent or guardian must ensure that the child safely enters the Academy and joins the class. Children should not be dropped off outside the premises unattended.
Repeated late arrivals may disrupt the lesson and affect the learning experience of the group.
3. Collection After Lessons
Parents or authorised guardians are responsible for collecting children promptly at the scheduled end of the lesson.
Children should be collected from the Academy entrance unless another arrangement has been agreed with the Academy in advance.
Parents are kindly asked to be present a few minutes before the lesson finishes.
4. Late Collection
Our classes are scheduled consecutively, and coaches may need to begin supervising another group immediately after a lesson ends.
For this reason, the Academy cannot provide extended childcare or supervision after the scheduled lesson time.
If a parent or guardian expects to be late, they should contact the Academy as soon as possible so that reasonable arrangements can be made where possible.
5. Leaving Independently
A child may leave the Academy without being collected by a parent or guardian only if the Academy has received prior written permission from the parent or legal guardian.
Without such permission, children are expected to remain at the Academy entrance until collected.
6. Parent / Guardian Responsibility
Parents and guardians are responsible for arranging the safe arrival and collection of their child before and after scheduled lesson times.
During the scheduled lesson, Freedom24 Chess Academy and its coaches will take reasonable steps to provide appropriate supervision and a safe training environment.
Parents are responsible for informing the Academy of any changes to collection arrangements or any person authorised to collect their child.
7. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unexpected delays and emergencies can occur. If you are unable to collect your child on time, please contact the Academy as soon as possible.
The Academy will always act reasonably with the child's safety as the priority.
By enrolling a child at Freedom24 Chess Academy, the parent or legal guardian confirms that they have read and agree to follow this Student Arrival & Collection Policy.
